  For anyone else, I definitely don't recommend coming here for a pre-match meal! If United have 30 home matches a season, and it's always a sell-out, the cafe with it's location, know exactly the demand at this time. It should be a well-oiled machine by now. I arrived 2 hours before kick-off and that should have been comfortable enough for a semi-relaxing meal. But no, I never got to experience a mouthful of anything. I was waiting over an hour, and others were the same. Several tables alongside with me were looking at the staff and getting more and more anxious and hungry. After waiting over an hour and with hardly anything more coming out, that was me done. I got a refund and had to gobble down a quick meal-deal sandwich from the main shop and head to the ground. There's no excuses on their part, for an awful awful service. Thinking about it and considering why, actually, not as many were present as one might expect for the time and location, perhaps they have been burnt like me previously and that explains why.

  Regular visitor before Man United games at Old Trafford and it always feels like they're severely understaffed at this peak time. Multiple times now have waited well over an hour for food to arrive, and even ordering itself is difficult as you have to go hunting for a table number placards since there's never any by the self service machines. The food itself is good, although a little on the pricey side for what it is, but it's not worth such a long waiting time.

  Once paid i asked could I have the bacon well done I was told no that you have to have it as it comes. The egg was undercooked and runny the bacon looked like it had been shown the grill for a minute . I couldn't eat either . If I had known this before i paid i wouldnt have eaten there

  As usually the staff excellent and on top form. Totally overworked and stretched but still manage to do an excellent service. Pay them more Tesco Cafe.

  Only paper cups in the cafe maybe the dishwasher was on strike
